M.ED in Education

In the early years following our nation's independence, the Department of Education's (Central Institute of Education) Master of Education Program was introduced nearly concurrently with the Bachelor of Education Program. It was intended to be a professional program for advanced education-related studies.This program's goal is to help M.Ed. degree participants become more knowledgeable and specialized in the field of education. The M.Ed. program should enable students to extend as well as deepen their knowledge and understanding of education, specialize in select areas, and also develop research capacities according to NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) standards.
